In today's video I'm sharing this process with you, in which I'm making pretty significant changes to the reference photo, making it more interesting, atmospheric and wholesome.
I'm mainly using more Yellow Ochre (M. Graham), letting it dominate the painting and be a part of almost any color used. This helps unite the painting and avoid an amateurish, over-saturated look.
