So it seems Hi-Rez is at it again. This time, they drop beta patch 22 on us, and once again, change the landscape of the game.

With Paladins, we can go as far back as when cards were picked in battle, they had timers before they activated based on your last death, they had more game modes, etc. Now, they have changed capture and siege into some horrible nightmare of "capture and payload". No longer is it safe for the defending team to defend at their base but now you need to aggressively defend at the cart. The offense holds all the cards though as they now spawn at the origination of the cart. The card system is totally jank as you now have "burn cards" that you can buy during the game. It seems Paladins is now becoming needlessly complex where it previously could have stood out in solid simplicity. When doing payload matches, you don't get the burn cards. Some needed nerfs happened like Barik but Buck (an already strong hero who tends to be piloted by chasing trolls) has received a buff.

Definitely NOT happy with the changes in this patch. Getting tired of fixing keybinds every patch and having to constantly redo and adjust the cards/decks.
