Japanese electronics giant Panasonic has unveiled its HCC-R600A smart cabinet with a host of impressive features.
Panasonic's new smart wardrobe can silently disinfect, deodorize and iron clothes in a quiet environment. A smart wardrobe is a low-noise device that does not disturb the sleeping person during operation.
The Panasonic smart wardrobe is divided into two sub-models, namely left (L) and right (R), depending on the direction of door opening. Panasonic's smart wardrobe has been tested at the Japan Food Research Center. It is able to reduce the number of bacteria on clothes by up to 99%. This threshold is reached after two hours of disinfection.
The smart wardrobe supports ironing clothes with steam, and the built-in warm air drying system ensures that clothes are dry after ironing. The smart wardrobe is adapted to the bedroom environment and has a noise-absorbing design (30 dB in disinfection and deodorization mode and 40 dB in ironing mode).
The novelty has a simple mirror design with a control panel that is visible only when in use. The child lock feature helps prevent unauthorized use.
The cost of the Panasonic HCC-R600A is $2326. Sales in Japan will begin on August 1. There is no data on global availability yet.
