Paper Mario TTYD Remake: Bonetail beaten before Chapter 1
1This here is my Pre-Hooktail pit of 100 trials run in the switch. Before I went to the pit of 100 trials, I did some shop points grinding for more money and attack items for the pit and started at level 3 stats: 10 HP, 10 FP, and 6 BP. I also got all badges from the badge shop except for FP Drain and Unsimplifier, then Quick Change, Item Hog, and Chill Out from Dazzle, then upgraded Goombella. It was done on my second attempt with no continues and done at starting with deepest level reached at 0 without leaving in the middle of pit. However, on my first attempt, I lost at floor 82 and 92 due to Arantulas and Amazy Dayzees dealing high power, then continued two times without saving my record, then I was doing a practice of final 19 floors of the pit before starting the real run. On my second attempt, I was able to beat Pre-Hooktail pit without retries or leaving in the middle of pit, and no using ultra mushroom. I also got the P-Up, D-Down P badge in floor 77 as a rare drop, then I almost lost on floor 97 because of using Thunder rage at Bob-ulks, then Amazy Dayzee made Mario go to sleep until last hit before it flees, then I battled Bonetail and successfully completed it. I also tattled every enemy in the pit before completing and ended with level 23 stats: 55 HP (60 with HP Plus), 25 FP, and 30 BP. Thanks to Mushroom bingos who saved me on floor 98 and 100 from almost reaching to 0 HP and peril partners who assisted on Bonetail. I have been also practicing some superguards for later enemies, then I did hundreds of superguards in this pit run, and my brother has also played the early floors of pit. Video proof was not recorded for the first 99 floors because of using OBS might have inconvenient action commands due to de-synced frames in gameplay, but I had some of the floors recorded with the capture button, but at the end of the pit, my micro SD Card ran out of video space, so I had to delete these to free more storage for recording bonetail. This run was done on July 21st 2024.
