Para Bellum Games: The Nords Captain unboxed!
42As I continue enjoying the latest releases for Conquest, I find my painted armies growing in areas I didn't expect- mostly Nords and Dweghom. I thought I'd be all up in the Spires but they have yet to really impress me to the degree that the other two races have. The less said about the regular humans, the better! :P
This guy is pretty flashy for a warrior, but then again, he's a captain! Why shouldn't he be able to stand out a bit more than his regular buddies?
I think this guy would make for a great adventurer player character if you game with models above the 28mm mark. He's got a lot of nice little touches to his design, much like the Blooded. He may be a lot larger than most historical models, but with a whole bunch of other Nords, they make a great Viking raiding party. Especially if you're going for the fantastical angle and what with them having the blood of giants and all...
