Para Bellum Games: The Herald of Fire, unboxed & built!
47Time for another Conquest character model! Today is the Herald of Fire, a character that hangs out with the Dweghom Flame Berserkers, who in a nutshell are a bunch of "changed" dwarfs who have all sorts of mechanical limbs replacing their organic bits, and are pretty much on fire all the time. Fun guys to hang around with!
You can see this guy absolutely belongs with them too- he's got all sorts of spikey protrusions jutting out of him, he's missing his original toes, and there's metal plates embedded all throughout him.
He's a big model too- big by Dweghom standards even. All things considered, I think that's a strength- it's a unique enough looking model that you could probably get away with using it in other settings, and with all the metal prosthetics I don't think he'd look too out of place in a scifi, or even a post apocalyptic setting.
Definitely looking forward to painting this guy...
