This video is a followup to my previous video - Parallels Standard faster than Pro? Windows gaming on M1 Mac compared: https://youtu.be/si_vhQU9lPA
In this video I discuss the performance difference in games between 1-10 CPU core allocation on Parallels Windows 11 ARM virtual machines. In my testing I discover that performance is variable but generally speaking, 6 CPU cores works performs the best in most games, despite the fact that this is over 50% of the CPU core allocation of my M1 Max chip (which has only 10 CPU cores).
If you would like to run games on CrossOver which can run Windows games with much greater performance, please see this video about the latest release of CrossOver 21.1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJtS0Vpj3gM
