Continuing my playthrough (livestreamed on Twitch) of Parasite Eve 1 for the PS1 (during late October 2021), I fought more and more grotesquely mitochondria-infused enemies & explored some more life-like locations! It was so cool to revisit PE1 after so many years (10-15 years easily) and play through the game. This game has aged so well and even though it's now would technically be considered in the "retro" category (gosh I feel so old, haha!), the story, locale, and horror elements still hold up very well! I love old school gaming horror! The police station area was a lot of fun as well.
Squaresoft/Square Enix did such a fantastic job with this game. I would love to see a remake (or even simply a remaster like they did with FF7/FF8/FF9 etc on various platforms). Fingers crossed we get something cool in the future!
