I finally wrapped up my October 2021 playthrough (livestreamed on Twitch) of Silent Hill 1 on the PS1 (by Konami), and in fact, twice! I reached the first ending (Bad+) and later went back to get the Good+ ending, as I forgot how to complete the whole Dr. Kaufmann sidequest. I'm glad that I did though because it helped me re-discovered the whole White Claudia / PTV angle in Silent Hill's story. The game as a whole was super refreshing to play, as retro horror really makes my brain tick in all the right ways.
I do wonder if Silent Hill is ever rebooted/remade if it will be made faithfully to the original title's story, as in almost every way, it was perfect. To date I've played & finished every single Silent Hill title (with the exception of offshoots like Silent Hill: Book of Memories, Silent Hill: The Arcade, & Silent Hill: The Escape), and will always be a huge fan of the franchise.
