The skill tree: I will make no comment. It is, however, obviously a mash-up of Episodes 1 and 2's skill progression system, where some other skills are learned upon levelling up.

@8:00 - Miyuki has a rather spastic idle animation, doesn't she? It's a source of annoyance for me how some games have idle animation that make hardly any sense... Anyway, Switching her out to get the most benefit from the skill points. Not that they're in abundance at this early stage, but never the less.
Huh, is Omega's pilot running around untended? Wow! I feel safer already!

I will rarely use any boosts to, well, boost in this Episode, instead focusing on using Special Attacks. Why? Because they level up, that's why. And for a long while they're one-hit kills that net you a 1.5 multiplier to all battle spoils.
