Days Gone is a third-person action-adventure survival game developed by Bend Studio and released in 2019. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a global pandemic has turned much of humanity into aggressive zombie-like creatures known as Freakers. Players take on the role of Deacon St. John (Deek), a former outlaw turned bounty hunter, as he navigates the dangerous wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, battles hostile human factions, and tries to uncover the mystery of what happened to his missing wife. The game features a dynamic weather system, a day-night cycle, and a variety of weapons and vehicles that can be customized and upgraded. Days Gone received mixed reviews (so strange) upon release but has since gained a dedicated fanbase.
