I haven't uploaded any videos in almost 2 years now, which is a product of both my laziness and the fact I'm quite busy with college nowadays. That and since I plan to actually start using voice in my videos in the future... Let's just say talking to the public for the first time is not something you can stop feeling nervous about very quickly. In addition, I did finally get a brand new computer about a year ago, one which is more than capable of doing pretty much anything I need (and want) without any problems whatsoever, so... Expect new videos to come at some point. When, exactly? No idea, I might do a few more voiceless videos before I finally grab the guts to actually talk into my microphone for everyone, but we'll see how that goes.

This game was developed entirely by myself as part of a project for a class (MSSN - Modulation and Simulation of Natural Systems) in the university I'm currently studying at, while using the Processing programming language. The requirements for this game were the usage of Particle Systems and Forces, though I decided to add pretty much all of the content that I've come to create as the semester rolled by, along with some extras.

As such, the game at the time of recording this video includes the following:

- Particles that simply fly off the screen and disappear once they're not visible;
- Particles that bounce back and forth once they hit the limits of the screen and only disappear once the player shoots them;
- Lines made entirely out of particles, bouncing or not;
- Particles that split into multiple smaller ones, which also require a few more shots from the player to be destroyed;
- Barrages of particles that cover half of the screen;
- Particle Systems which are composed by much smaller particles that can't be destroyed, yet will damage the player if they're above a certain transparency;
- Larger particles that are orbited around by smaller particles which serve as a shield, and simply fly off once the main particle is destroyed.
- A boss battle which has 4 types of attacks, 3 of which are present in this video, with the last one being particles that are shot pretty much aimlessly at a much faster rate, from the smaller guns.

Of course, assets such as graphics and audio do not belong to me, and instead belong to both Metal Slug and Undertale, graphic assets were modified to fit the screen and their users' functions.

The used audio assets were the following:

Kiss in the Dark, Carry Out - Metal Slug 3;
Steel Beasts - Metal Slug 2/X;
It's Showtime!, Determination (not present in the video but used for the game's game over screen) - Undertale;
Sound Effects from both Metal Slug and Undertale;

Metal Slug © SNK Playmore.
Undertale © Toby Fox.

No copyright infringement was intended during the development of this game with the usage of the mentioned assets, this game is entirely non-profit and is not distributed anywhere.
