Since the Hyper ship can't stop moving, it's difficult to accurately target enemies while also dodging asteroids, and this becomes even more of a problem once the walls shift inward, forcing tricky close-quarters situations. It's also difficult to deal with Baron enemies (the ones that chase you), though I was lucky not to run into many in this video. On top of that, it doesn't have many particles, and maybe it's just my playstyle, but they tend to bunch up too tightly or spread out too thin. Either way, it's usually a good idea not to go at full speed, since that lowers your accuracy. I'd say it's one of the hardest ships to use effectively in Hard mode, next to the Showoff ship.
