Party Hard 2 is a stealth action game that involves a lot of killing. You can even kill everyone in the level to win. It's much harder than you think to pull off and requires having a good handle on the game mechanics.
While there is a lot of senseless violence in this game, the protagonist does have a reason; he is on a quest for vengeance. The game has little segments of voice acted cutscenes in between levels that explain the narrative. The voice acting is mediocre but the cut scenes do provide some context for what is happening in each level.
Within each level are a randomized assortment of environmental hazards to help you succeed on your quest for vengeance. Some are very stealthy, while most are very explosive. Even a gumball machine can be rigged to explode. Once you get a handle on the timings, you can start off a chain reaction of explosions and stabbings that will depopulate the entire map in a symphony of destruction.
The game also features many different characters, each with their own unique set of abilities to help you get through each level. In addition to this, to add to the replayability of the game, are steam workshop levels. You can design or download custom made levels and solve more stealthy murder mayhem puzzles.
Overall, Party Hard 2 is a challenging stealth puzzle game that requires more brain than brawn. The voxel based graphics looked great, the upbeat music is fantastic, and the puzzles themselves are rewarding to solve.
