I mostly got Spicy Swap at the beginning for the Energized Pac's Guide Notes. After (eventually) realizing that the way to Swamp is blocked from another direction other than the top, I backtracked down to the Coast to see if I could do some things I missed out on last time. Also, in Quest 5, the game finally introduces holes in the Fabric of Nature. I'll be holding off on these for the moment, since I want to try to plant the worst possible pins in there.

Maybe I can get the whirlpool section done while I'm down here. Remember that Question Mark area in Coast I avoided when I first went there? Yeah, that was just a Sponge area. I also went the wrong way for the Whirlpool area, which caused a decent amount of backtracking. (Also, the part at 29:31 feels like something out of a skit.)

By the way, did you know Steagull's ability works even if Steagull is below Levels 2 and 3? It actually adds the 2nd and 3rd tier moves when you pilfer them anyway!

I eventually found myself with a Launcher heading straight for the Whirlpool. Before that, though... what about that building and switch next to it? After unlocking a door and discovering a Crab Shrine, I decided to do the dungeon before going into the Whirlpool area.

The Crab Shrine (2nd Dungeon of the max difficulty run) went swimmingly; I had Dismount Mates and the Tough/Speedy buffs the entire time. The Nectarifle blaster bullets cancelling out the homing poison skulls from the totems in addition to destroying the Brittalite in the way really helped with that final stretch before the boss fight. The boss fight itself was a cinch with Dismount Mates and Homing Ammo.

This is the farthest I've gone in a quest on this profile without getting defeated! From now on, I will be labeling all moments where the Borca jumps up and storms around the area as a Borca Jumpscare.
