This is a new series of mine planned for Patch Quest! I've already completed a No Blaster Run (my first run; used melee blast on Crystals and from touching monsters with the Auto Blast perk only) and a Blaster Only run (only using lasso on required bosses for all treasures like Crystal Core and Jumbo Triantula), and at the time of recording this, I completed all 18 Challenges with a Gold Medal (the first one - Supersize Me - being the last for me to do so). I figured I'd try out something new for a third profile slot: Max Difficulty Run!
The rules of the run are simple (and explained in the playlist these videos will be grouped in). The entire run will be done on the highest difficulty setting for Patch Quest: "A Cruel Joke". I will also be trying to complete 100% with some bonus goals:
1) Return a Gold Crown variant for all Pets.
2) Obtain a Shiny variant for all Pins.
3) Reach Level 4 in all Mounts' skills.
I also had an additional Bonus Goal of not planting pins, but now I see that it's part of 100% to plant at least one. I'll try to plant only pins with a DANGER tag on their ability (Frenzerries, Morticeps, Moodstone, Brain Totem) unless some possible worse pin to plant also exists.
With the Coast unlocked, I should be able to get to the nearby Desert to unlock that one as well!
