If you pay attention to POE's economy, you might have noticed Enchanted Fossils have soared in price in recent days. Scouring and Chance orbs have also increased

This is because of people trying to use them to indirectly create enchanted versions of The Baron unique helmet. Top Zombie enchants on The Baron sell for dozens and dozens of exalts.

Crafting method:
- Start with a Close Helmet magic, rare or normal helmet
- Hit it with enchanted fossils until you hit EITHER a high quality enchant, OR any non-awful minion enchant
- If you hit a premium spellcaster, melee or bow enchant, roll it as a rare item using fossils or any other method. High item level helps here.
- If you hit a premium minion enchant, first check market conditions, then use a scouring orb, activate a Trash to Treasure prophecy and then Chance Orb the helmet. This will turn it into The Baron while keeping its enchant. Alternately, repeatedly scour and chance the item.
- If you hit a mid-tier minion enchant (as I do very quickly in this video), then you can try to scour-chance into The Baron, but again check market conditions first.
