So many maps drop in 3.9 that they basically aren't precious or treasure any more, and you can be really wasteful with them.

Most of the Awakening Level rewards don't seem to scale with zone item quantity, so here's a silly strategy that actually works. Just run tier 15-16 maps as white maps and blitz to the boss.

This does require a very high Awakening Level and so requires you to have made considerable progress on the epilogue quests. I don't recommend this approach without AL 4 or higher, and ideally you want 6-8.

The huge thing that makes it work - the 2-4% chance (2 at Awakening Level 4 or 5, 4 at AL 8) to get a Shaper guardian map, which are quite valuable at the moment.
