Path of Exile was one of the most hyped ARPGs back when it was released in 2013. Some called it "The Diablo Killer". But now 10 years have passed which makes me wonder, Is It Still Worth Playing Path of Exile in 2023!?

Regarding graphics, Path Of Exile doesn't look like a 2013 game. Its graphics are quite good and it doesn't feel like you're playing an old game.

Regarding gameplay, this Dark and Gorish ARPG is highly addicting. A fluid combat system, good UI, a lot of content, a nice dark storyline to follow, quests, etc. Basically, it offers you everything you would expect from a modern ARPG.

But where Path of Exile truly shines is in its build diversity! You can build the same class in a thousand different ways. There is a huge passive skill tree, a lot of skill gems, a lot of support gems that change the behavior of your skills, and a few different classes.

Where some see a pro others see a con. The insane amount of possible builds might make the game quite overwhelming to newbies. Especially if you're not familiar with ARPGs. The same goes for the overall difficulty of the game. It can be quite tough for a new player.

This being said Path of Exile is still a viable option. To add up to an already successful title, Path of Exile 2 is right around the corner.
