Path of Exile is completely free and will remind you a lot of the mechanics included in some games like Diablo II or Diablo III. Personally speaking, I prefer Path of Exile to the rest of them and once you start playing, you'll see why.
The character skill customization tree on any class is immense and Path of Exile rests assure that the game will never be pay to win. There are many different paths to take as any class you choose, which lets you explore many different facets.

Path of Exile is an Action RPG that focuses on devastating skills and valuable items. Gems grant abilities when socketed into equipment. A wide range of support gems allow the behavior of skills to be modified.
Wraeclast is a dark and brutal world which is scarred and cursed by many catastrophes of the past; due to this, it is inhabited by many horrific creatures. The environment itself challenges the will of each exile that dares enter Wraeclast.
The art style of Path of Exile is considered dark and gritty, which is a nice change compared to many of the bright RPGs which are being released. Wraeclast, in Path of Exile, is meant to be terrifying and the developers have done it justice.

The replayability of Path of Exile is amazing as each map you enter is instanced so each time there will be different loot and monsters will spawn in different locations; best of all, the map will be completely different, too.
The witch is a class that controls magical elements and centers around intelligence and knowledge. The witch contains both arcane magic and deadly combat abilities (improves critical strikes). The witch is a unique ranged class which can deal monstrous amounts of damage to her enemies that dare stand in her way. The witch class is female, and only female.
If you haven't had a chance to play Path of Exile yet, you are missing out. Path of Exile is a fun and free game to play, especially if you grew up on other real RPGs that you wish would get upgraded or updated with better graphics or gameplay. This game is something you do not want to miss out on.
