5Welcome to Steins Gate, a Visual Novel within the Science Adventure's series of Visual Novels. Released originally in 2009, remastered on Steam for release in September 2016.
We follow along the story of a mad scientist named Rintarō Okabe (nickname Hōōin Kyōma) and his long time friend Mayuri Shiina. Seeking for the true ending of Steins Gate, we show in this episode the sixth and final true ending flag to initiate it, you'll notice the first change from Kurisu's ending as the credit music is different and...events happen.
In the beta worldline where Mayuri was not cursed by the strings of her fate on the alpha one, we receive a call from a familiar character in our eyes about a World War Three outcome where the superpowers of the world fight for control of Time Travel Technology. Rintarō, who has Kurisu and Mayuri on mind is fragile from the events that have happen in the past few weeks on the alpha worldline, to save Kurisu and change the future, can Rintarō do that, can he endure anymore pain?
