6Welcome to Steins Gate, a Visual Novel within the Science Adventure's series of Visual Novels. Released originally in 2009, remastered on Steam for release in September 2016.
We follow along the story of a mad scientist named Rintarō Okabe (nickname Hōōin Kyōma) and his long time friend Mayuri Shiina, who is on Rintarō's mind all the time when cancelling the D-Mails of her friends and in turn sacrificing their wishes in order for Mayuri to live, in order for the worldline Rintarō is in to become the Beta one.
Being with Lukako is quite conflicting for Rintarō as we can tell he has mixed emotions with him/her, both uncomfort and warmth can be seen although most of the time it is silent between the two of them. Rintarō however thinks of another way to spend the time together in the temporary week they have as boyfriend and girlfriend, a way they both can enjoy. This ending out of all of them so far is the cutest but most saddening ending to endure as Lukako wants to be with Rintarō but at the same time wants to save Mayuri, both of which cannot happen in the Alpha worldlines.
