A ball is dropped from a certain height on a straight horizontal road and its motion is recorded from a car that starts moving with a uniform acceleration when the ball is dropped. Path of the ball relative to the car between the first and the second bounce is shown in the graph. The dashed line shown is a tangent to the path. If collision of the ball with the road is perfectly elastic and duration between the first and the second bounce is 2.0 s, find displacement of the car between the first and the second bounce of the ball. Acceleration due to gravity is 10 m/s^2.
