Paul Bullard's 1980 MKII Ford Transit Custom Van
1At Big Boys Toys Expo 2022, Aussie Garage caught up with Paul Bullard a for a chat about his big cruising van.
Paul owns a 1980 MKII Ford Transit Custom Van with a fuel injected 350 Chevy with a Turbo 700 transmission and custom 9" Diff that he restored and built 20 years ago. The Ford Transit is white with Gun Metal grey and custom side pipe exhausts on both sides of the vehicle and this thing goes.
He has been apart of West Coast Vanners for a year since they formed, however, he has been in and around van clubs since the 1980's, including the Panthers Van Club and Majestic Vanners - WA Chapter. He has also been to a number of Van Nationals over the years and loved every minute of them.
Paul was part of the display that West Coast Vanners had at the Big Boys Toys Expo 2022 which went for three days. The next big event for Paul is the WA Van State Title 2022 which on the 3rd of April 2022 in conjunction Max Pinjarra at Sir Ross McLarty Oval, Pinjarra. the event is to showcase Panel Vans, Van and Utes of all descriptions.
Paul's advise if were thinking about buying a classic vehicles is join a club, because it not all about Show Cars, its about the people in the club, the events and cruising around. West Coast Vanners do a large amounts of charity works and they support Variety WA for disabled, chronically ill and disadvantage children throughout the state of WA.
