PBR "Style" & "Randomizer" League Battle Prologue
1I'd figure that I would upload this spoiler before the big tourney presentation came to play later this June. There are two new tourneys that I will be presenting along with which trainers will be in them. The rules for each type of Pokémon League Battle are explained in the video, but the main concept is in this description here. Interested in seeing these? Then stay tuned for the big event later on!
STYLE LEAGUE BATTLE: Along with scoring points by having Pokémon still active on your team, you also score by how you play the entire battle as if it were a contest type of battle. Using good strategy gains you bonus points, while reckless playing and other flubs earn you a negative bonus. Most points after all 5 battles wins.
RANDOMIZER LEAGUE BATTLE: Before the battles start, all 6 trainers Pokémon will be taken off of their set pass and put on a chart. Using two separate dice (one to choose a trainer and one to choose which Pokémon of that trainer), each Pokémon that a trainer obtains will be completely chosen by fate, similar to a Fortune Battle minus the ability of possible manipulation. However, along with the chance to gain an opponent's Pokémon, there are two more options that could make or break your game. The two "Bonus" choices for the Randomizer will be announced during the start of the tournament itself.
