1Finally, a showcase of custom Arcade Game clips in The Sims 2!
Now, unlike with the console games, the Arcade Games have a different naming set. There are two games, both of which have videos with the name loop attached to them, in addition to the intro, win and lose clips. Most of the loop clips can be of any length, but the intro has to be around 6 seconds long, with the winning and losing sequences having to be roughly 5 and 4 seconds long respectively to sync well with the animation, or else the videos won't play properly. You can consult the movies folder in the root folder for University, the expansion pack which introduced the arcade games. They are game1 and game2. The game here is game1.
For the showcase, I have decided to take the infamously obscure fighting game Survival Arts. I made the intro, winning and losing screens myself, but as for the gameplay loop videos, I had to resort using footage of other people (credits to them) since I have no real desire to have another human being to play it with me, and that there are no player control cheats for the game, unlike of what Mortal Kombat has.
