Peppered - All Endings
All eleven endings to Peppered: an existential platformer along with some scene variants and additional story scenes (not all of them but more than enough to get the context for each ending). When the God of Death is about to break out of their prison and the usual fellow isn't available to keep it shut you have to make the difficult choice of saving the world or getting a job.
The game emphasizes having only one shot at things but that's not always quite true. Failing boss fights can change things (or advance the story more quickly) but in the case of fighting Theodore you do get an option to retry. As well, for Beach City being mortal means you can still die just fine provided you have a life star and there's plenty of them to collect. Even then, if you start a new game you can begin from any chapter you've reached (so for Ending 6 you can just start at Beach City instead of having to go from the beginning).
Choosing to get a job leads to Endings 1 and 2. Ending 3 requires a specific set of actions to avoid Merdeka getting any evidence you're the Star Thief (but once you're on it by choosing to not confess your crimes you're locked in). Normally, something you'd do would get evidence and lead to the trial. It's not too difficult to win it but there's a good chance most folks will lose it the first time.
Losing the trial leads to Beach City and opens Ending 4 (die with no life stars to revive) and has you either continue to save the world or get a job working for Karmina. Sticking to your guns with saving the world will have Karmina capture you at the end - fail the conversation for Ending 7 or succeed for Ending 5. Alternatively, if you work for Karmina to the end you'll also get Ending 5 but if you give up your stars to Merdeka (or lose the fight to her) you'll get Ending 8. Ending 6 is a special case where you do either way to reach Ending 5 but you found all 80 life stars which requires no deaths in Beach City (working for Karmina is much easier to do this although you can save scum this ending).
Winning the trial leads to the fight with Theodore. Win for Ending 9 or lose for Ending 10 which is more of a game over.
Ending 11 requires finding six secret rooms from the starting room in the office all the way to Beach City. There's a good Steam guide for this made by one of the playtesters.
The game is really enjoyable. Not particularly difficult platforming and it's more on the narrative side but it's got an enjoyable story, some really good humor, plenty of secrets, and a good bit of replayability for finding everything. Not too big a fan of the golf levels.
