Perceptive Podcast (Audio Only) The Action of Asura
We sat down with Zain of Ogrehead Studio to talk about developing their first major steam game Asura.
We started by talking about how the studio was formed and the current state of the Indian game scene. From there, we discussed the development of Asura.
Asura’s big design point was the procedurally generated skill tree, and Zain talked about how that was a part of the game from the start. Beyond that, the game was changed in major areas over its development. We also talked about balancing the difficulty of the game and some of our favorite action designs. At the end, we discussed the future of Asura and what they have planned if the game does well.
