Originally I was going to make this a single video, but when I saw the time was about 40 minutes, I figured I'd just stick with the Chicago level. Plus I was not able to complete this level for the recordings. Or so I thought. Years ago, I played through the whole game on VHS, with the same VCR and recording speed I had for this video. I'd say it worked out as this is a brighter level than Chicago. A complaint of part 1.You may or may not notice a quality difference this time around. I used a software called Handbrake to stabilize things a little. If only there was a way I could enhance the colors, and stabilized the audio in the Betamax. I figure then It would be down to resolution, or other such things. Oh well. If you have any suggestions as to how I can get the Betamax picture and audio to a better place I'd be glad to hear it. All the same, I hope I was able to keep this interesting, and not be biased in my findings.

For those curious about the technical side of things, the VHS section was recorded in EP rather than SLP like last time and the VCR is a few years older. However I made sure to play it in a VCR of a similar vintage to the Betamax. It's annoying that that VCR doesn't record anymore, it would make a closer 1 to 1 comparison. As for how the footage was captured, both machines have an RCA output, which I used a capture card to make it an video file. (I'm a rather frugal person, and the capture card used is on the cheap size).Such files are pretty unstable, so I used Handbrake to make it a stable MP4. I then used those files through 2 video editors to make this video. As for the source both recorded, I put gameplay footage on DVD, hand both record the same thing. Much easier to do a side by side this way, rather than playing it twice and hoping I did it the same way twice.
