Persona 5: The Phantom X[c] is a 2024 role-playing game developed by Black Wings Game Studio and published by Perfect World (with publishing outside China and South Korea by Sega[3] and in Taiwan and Southeast Asia by Iwplay World[4]). The game is a spin-off of the Persona series by Atlus, itself a part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. An open beta in China began in April 2024, and was later officially launched in the same month in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and South Korea. Some Persona 5 staff members were involved in the development, including series producer Kazuhisa Wada as project supervisor, artist Shigenori Soejima designing the protagonist Wonder and his Persona, and Ryota Kozuka composing the main theme. Furthermore, series composer Shoji Meguro's original music from Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload was included, along with new tracks composed by BlackWings Audio. It was officially released globally on June 26, 2025 for Android, iOS, and Windows devices.
