Pet Portraits Using Fake Sunlight
This is basically a pet portrait version of the "Faking the Sun" BTS I did for a recent product shoot I did during the quarantine. I originally planned to mix ambient light and strobes for this shoot, but since I already ran out of sunlight for the product shoot I did before this, I just re-used the artificial sunlight that I had set up.
I used 3 Godox TT600s to fake the exterior sunlight (one for each window). Another TT600 to bounce flash on the ceiling and wall behind me to create fake ambient inside. For the subject, I used 2 Godox V860IIs each with a 22x90cm Godox stripbox in a dual pillar formation - similar to a Martin Schoeller portrait lighting.
Shot with a Nikon D7500 + Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 G2
