Almost happy with the sound of the train getting going, just need a whistle sound at the end and the audio is done. Think I need to do it as a two part program, redefine the character set via READ/DATA statements and load over itself like the old VIC20 does to save some RAM. Also found there is a free block of 4K RAM BASIC can't go into so I could use that to store definitions of backgrounds. 4kb = four character screens or eight half height screens etc.
