I believe this is the first Non Final Boss to have his own battle theme.
Difficulty: 10/10
Lassic only really does one thing and that's blast your ass with lightning so why the ultimate difficulty level? Well it's the end of a very long Marathon. To get here you had to go through two different, and very long, dungeons and fight every boss along with way without any healing spots or shops to restock. Even if you went back to the village after finding the crystal, beating the Robot Cop and Dr Mad you would still have to go through both dungeons, defeat the Elytron Dragon, the Shadow Lassic, and the Emperor himself pretty much all in one go.

Then there's the fight itself and Lassic not only has the highest HP of any boss we've seen, barring the nightmare, he's also bulky so no hit is gonna do more than 25 damage against him and he's got ridiculously high evasion so much so I actually recommend swapping Odin back to the fire gun because it never misses and is a consistent 10 damage.

Meanwhile offensive Lassic hits the entire party with his magic every single turn and will never miss. It has a damage range of anywhere between 10ish damage to 50 ish damage and that becomes a problem when he never misses so basically you need to burst him down as best you can before Myau and Odin inevitably bite the dust then Hope Alis can finish the job, Noah might just make it but don't hold your breath.

But then after the fight is over you have to get out of this dungeon and then out of the air castle entirely and with Myau dying 100% of the time for me I had to make sure I could win with Alis still having enough MP to use FLY and warp me to a town. On it's own this fight is at most a 7 but the exhausting endurance test you have to go through and still save enough in the tank to get out alive makes this one of the hardest retro bosses there is... and we still have one more boss fight... ya ever notice we never figured out what caused that nightmare? Maybe we should look into that a bit.
