Phantasy Star (2022 Retranslation): Part 12: Ice Digging Through Dezonis (L. Armor & Aero Prism)
2I wanted to stop by Motavia again to buy a Diamond Armor. It's the most expensive armor you can buy. I wanted to give that to Alis. After this, I go to Dezoris and REALLY start to get things done on that frosty planet.

We explore outside the Skure sight to explore this Dezoris' map for real.
This will start buy going through several Dezoris Tunnels. Here's the map for all 5 of them:

These tunnels will often connect into each other through Dezoris' overworld, but inbetween some of them will be a different path that can lead to different areas in Dezoris. Here, I'm just using the first 4 tunnels to get to a place called Twintown.
Before you actually reach Twintown, you need to go through one more tunnel that will lead into it. This dungeon is a spiraling one, but it is otherwise completely straightforward.

Twintown shows off the weirder citizens of Planet Dezoris. Each side of this town believes that the other side's people are nasty liars.
Your main reason to visiting Twintown for the first time is to buy an Ice Digger for 12000 Meseta. This is another vehicle and should be the last one in this game. You use it you break through certain walls of ice on the Dezoris map. You'll need this to continue through the game. Plus, it's faster than walking on foot.

Go back through the 4th Dezoris Tunnel, then instead of taking the 3rd one, head West, instead, and then Northwest through a tighter path. That should lead you to the Guaron Morgue.

I took the trap door near the start because it made for a slightly faster walk, but you'll have to go up afterwards.
At the end of this dungeon, you should find the Laconian Armor, though its treasure chest may be booby trapped. Only Odin can wear this.

Leave the Morgue and head South and Southwest from it. There should be a huge wall of ice you can dig through with the Ice Digger. If you can make your way through it all, you should eventually reach the Aero Prism Cave.

If you take the time to find a woman in this dungeon, turns out she's another staff member of the game named Otegami Chie-chan! This 80s game's staff progressively had quite a few women making this game!
Those Frost Dragons are lies, by the way. They still breathe fire.

The endpoint of this dungeon is to reach a boss named Golem/Titan. If you can beat him, you can pick up the Aero Prism.
Time to go back to Twintown for another quick rest.
