A proof-of-concept of the early stages of a double-walking-speed patch for Phantasy Star III. I got this far by standing on the shoulders of giants, among them Tony Hedstrom, Hugues Johnson, and lory90.

The big thing here is actually the wedding cutscene. While it definitely looks weird--the game was just not designed for your character to move at this speed--this is, to my knowledge, the first working demonstration of the cutscene working close-to-properly with a double-speed patch and/or double-speed codes applied. Previous versions would either lock up completely, or Rhys would get stuck in the lower chamber and you'd have to manually walk him into the dungeon (And later, out of the shop) once you regained control.
