A walk through Holtes City from Phantasy Star Universe. In this VR-enabled video, we explore its outdoor areas, some indoors, and a special bonus addition at the end!

I finally played and completed Phantasy Star Universe for the first time back in December 2023 (one month ago). I had been putting it off for almost two decades, and I regret not playing it sooner. Although the game is a bit controversial among PSO fans (because of some changes it made, like no mags), I found it to be very much a worthy entry in the series. I really enjoyed the world building in the game and the variety of different 'hub' areas you could visit, with Holtes City being my favorite.

I loved the futuristic vibe of the city - it reminds me a lot of the concept art for the cities in the old 8bit/16bit Phantasy Star games. And with that, I suddenly had my motivation to create this video! It took about a month of work. Hope you enjoy it!
