The latest Xbox news comes from a Phil Spencer interview about Xbox Game Pass exclusives. Would Microsoft ever make a game exclusive to Game Pass? Phil says no. Xbox Game Pass games are seen as an option not a requirement, but I think exclusives are still possible, and I will say why.

Because the Xbox leaks made it clear they need to grow the sub service off the Xbox console. Customers who do not own an Xbox Series X or an Xbox Series S need to sign up for Game Pass and having games exclusive to the sub model could help, but it would remove choice for the consumer.
