The fifth and final episode of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney feels different from the first four, and there's a good reason for that: it wasn't part of the original game. It was created specifically for the DS remake, and the investigations in this episode incorporate features of the new hardware. The touch screen and the microphone are used for a few puzzles, and the graphics are notably improved over the earlier cases, with a few scenes even featuring 3D elements.
It's a great case that further builds Edgeworth and Gumshoe's characters, introduces some fun new personalities and interesting gameplay wrinkles, and it adds a substantial bit of content to an already beefy game.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
