What came next after court reconvened was a shocker....de Killer himself shows up at court! ....Well, not physically at least. He was speaking over a two-way radio and it seems he was willing to talk about who his true client really is. This would be a battle of wits against a killer....and there can't be any missteps.
It seems time has officially run out for the case....and Wright now faces his most painful choice yet, with two lives in the balance...
However...just as he was about to give his answer, a familiar crack is heard and an unexpected occurrence happened: Franziska von Karma makes a grand entrance as the courtroom doors swing open! She managed to track down Gumshoe and has the evidence he brought in his coat. There were several pieces of evidence: the pistol, no doubt used to shoot Franziska herself (she even kept the bullet as a memento), a video tape which de Killer somehow tried to get back at the cost of several officers stopping him, and a bellboy's outfit with a missing button...the disguise he used at the Gatewater Hotel.
If Wright can play his hand right...he just might be able to get the miracle turnabout he desperately needs!
