Pholia is one of the characters that I most like in this game when it comes to design/voice, but unfortunately her kit has been hit by power creep just as hard as other characters despite being already rebalanced once.

Her first skill honestly feels more like an hindrance in newer content (or GW) than a blessing to the point that I'd probably not use it as all in an advanced Varuna grid.
It gives nothing that powerful (30% unique mod, 100/20 crit, guaranteed DA and 30% DEF) to justify the massive penalty that happens if the shield breaks (-50% unique atk mod, high hostility and -20% def). And it will break because 8000 health is not that big considering the damage output of newer bosses.
