Pickles (Tech demo): Freeing the elephant in the Arab area
I really don't know what else to call this.
So there's this unreleased Gamecube game called Pickles that would have featured some cool stacking mechanics combined with some platforming elements. The currently released prototype seems to be some type of tech demo to test out certain gameplay mechanics, but out of all of the areas available one has some type of primitive puzzle to it. It would have involved stacking monkeys to hit a bell which would have freed an elephant to put on your stacks, but in its current state its actually impossible to complete. You need five monkeys to reach the anvil required to ring the bell, but there's only four in the area. Even so, if you hack to give yourself an extra monkey then everything works as intended, although there's nothing else after that.
Also, yes. I got softlocked in the end where I couldn't move. I'm not surprised to experience it from a prototype like this.
Sorry to headphone users since the sound only comes out of the left side. The prototype is so early that it doesn't have centralized audio.
