Piers Morgan confronts Matt Hancock
2Piers Morgan has confirmed that Matt Hancock has returned to England after his time in the jungle.
The former Good Morning Britain host, 57, told his Twitter followers that he had an 'awkward' encounter with the disgraced MP at Heathrow Airport today, as the politician returns home to resume his work duties and meet with constituents in West Suffolk.
Piers, who was critical of Mr Hancock's decision to appear on the ITV show, told his fans online that he would have given the controversial campmate a "a kicking" if he had been in camp with him.
"Just bumped into Matt Hancock at Heathrow," the journalist began his tweet.
"I told him I’d been giving him a good kicking the entire time he was in the jungle."
Mr Hancock's long-awaited return to England comes after the former health secretary finished third in the live final of I'm A Celebrity on Sunday night.
