Pikmin Walkthrough - Day 2
3Thanks to the Pikmin, the Dolphin has its engine back and is able to lift off. Continuing his search, Olimar lands in a dense forest he calls the Forest of Hope. While looking for the other missing parts, he comes across a yellow Onion, where he discovers a new kind of Pikmin.
In this part we find 3 ship parts: Eternal Fuel Dynamo, Shock Absorber and Whimsical Radar. All of these parts are mandatory for getting at least the normal ending.
About the Bulborbs. For the safe, but slower approach you can get behind them while they're sleeping and just throw the Pikmin on their back. Call them back when it shakes them off and just keep throwing. To kill them quickly I recommend having at least 30 Pikmin and just swarm its back while it's sleeping.
