After having retrieved all the ship parts in the Forest of Hope and the Forest Navel Olimar returns to the Impact Site to retrieve the last part of that area.

Ship part found: Positron Generator (mandatory)

The Impact Site has two optional bosses. One of them is the Mamuta. The Mamuta appears during day 8 and all other even numbered days afterward. The Mamuta is actually pretty harmless and replants Pikmin by slamming them back into the ground without killing them. As they are replanted, they instantly turn into Flower Pikmin. The other optional boss, Goolix, appears during day 9 and all other odd numbered day afterwards. The only way Goolix can attack is by drowning its enemies, so make sure to only use blue pikmin. Both bosses are shown off in this part.
