The road to the Caed Nua is full of danger. Instead of going alone it our party decides to grow to a group of 5. Our party now consists of a Ranger, Wizard, Priest, Fighter and a Chanter.

The hero in this playthrough is Lowko, a Nature Godlike from the Living Lands. Lowko used to be a Hunter, but is looking to settle down in new lands after a bad hunting season.

It is notable for its crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter where it raised more than 4 million dollars. Pillars of Eternity features a party-based real-time-with-pause tactical gameplay with a fixed user interface with a living game world. Lowko needs to make the decisions about what is going on in the world. While the mechanics of the game are not based on Dungeons & Dragons, the plot and setting feel very similar. The player has to explore the world, and has to make decisions based on the character they are playing.
