A quick review of the Pilot Kakuno ( https://amzn.to/2q1b7Na ) fountain pen, which I bought for $11. I got the fine size, but it's also sold in an extra fine and medium. It's s plastic pen with a steel nib aimed at first-time fountain pen buyers.

 Personally I prefer the Metropolitan ( https://amzn.to/2GQYbmB ) as this pen is somewhat aimed at kids, but it's still a nice pen and a great pickup for $11.

This pen is super light, easy to use, and fun to have around. It writes well but doesn't offer a particularly distinctive fountain pen experience or much line variety. But it's cheap, dependable, and problem-free.
