One of the nice things about terminal file managers like lf and ranger is that you can do file previews, whilst ranger comes with a preview script in the form of the scope.sh, lf doesn't with anything so you have to write it yourself. However, what if they was a program made to simplify this process for you whilst also being really fast and that's where pistol comes in, it's a preview script written in Go that's fairly easy to configure, however I do have a few issues with it that I address in the video.
