Getting publishing funding is harder than ever. Being on the other side of the world from every major publisher means you're playing on hard mode. But there are a bunch of things you can do to improve your chances, reduce the perceived risk, and instead present your game as an opportunity for commercial success.

I'll run through what you SHOULD and SHOULDN'T say in a pitch, how to play to your strengths, maximise your appeal, and how to target the right publishers for your game. This is a standalone talk addressing the current state of the industry and what publishers are looking for, aside from the pitching workshops that I regularly do for CODE.
