[Pivot] Q3's Unlagged Netcode in a nutshell
Unlagged is actually a modification patch which is applied to many Quake 3-derrived games including Tremulous. 0:04 player-only entities means that problems arise with doors, moves and trains etc.
Concept of how most modern day First Person Shooter games compensate for player latency, in a nutshell. Q3's "unlagged" concept in some way or another, has been the basis that most FPS game developers use.
Very similar concepts are used in modern day games including War Thunder, however War Thunder is a bit special since it has a double-prediction state. I'll do a different animation for it.
