Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein - Arcade Fighting Game (Capcom 1998)
An old school arcade fighting game from the late 90's, Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein was published by Capcom, and was the sequel to an earlier fighting title called Star Gladiator. The game's character all had unique plasma weapons, and the game utilized a plasma meter to unleash special plasma attack maneuvers.
The game consisted of a 4 button configuration, with 2 weapon attacks, 1 kick attack, and the 4th button represented characters evade abilities. Plasma Sword shared many similarities to other fighting titles of the same era, including Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi (one of the characters, Gamof, actually looks like a cross between Chewbacca and Bigfoot), Bloody Roar (has beasts as some of the characters), and Capcom's arcade fighting title Rival Schools (many similarities in graphics and fighting mechanics).
Here we played as the character Gamof in our first video of the game, and plan on covering more characters in future videos as well.
